会"说话"的小狗狗
Bunny, a 1-year-old sheepadoodle, loves to play ball and go outside. At least that's what she says.
Bunny presses 46 different buttons-each with a recorded word-to "speak" with her owner Alexis Devine, who built the soundboard after watching Christina Hunger, a speech pathologist, teach her own dog how to "talk"with a similar method.
Devine, an artist, says training Bunny takes "a lot of patience and repetition." She presses a button, lets Bunny hear it, repeats the word and shows Bunny the activity it describes.
"We have very interesting conversations," Devine says. "Bunny loves the words 'beach, ' 'park' and 'walk. '
She will also say, 'Love you, Mom, ' and wag her tail. Recently we introduced a 'no' button. She's very much enjoying the 'no'."
Devine isn't sure if Bunny knows she's "talking." "I'm a hopeful skeptic," she says. "But it's fascinating, and she's having fun, which is the most important thing."
