Despite a long and sometimes tragic history of invasion and resistance, this thriving business capital has poetry, music and literature percolating through its cobblestones.
Which raises the question: in the next 100 million years, silica-rich water will percolate through the nooks and crannies of some of the discarded artifacts of human civilization.
Now, instead of trees pumping the water out of the ground, and keeping the salt stored, whatever water the crops don’t use percolates down into the soil.
If you take into account Florida's landscape, it has got a lot of that very porous limestone that allows the rain, the acidic rain to sort of percolate down into the soil forming this cave like sinkholes here.
So, this was another tangent about the creation of the show and listener feedback, but also listener feedback, holding it in balance, and then percolating on it and then making my own creative choice.
